With Yahoo! Messenger 5.6, you can chat with your friends and relatives and it is completely free. All you need is a Yahoo e-mail address to sign in. Once you have signed in, you can add your friends by their e-mail address just clicking the "Add" button. And, if they are online, you can start chatting with them just by clicking on their nickname. If you have to go away for a while you can change your status to "busy", "not at home", "on the phone", etc. Yahoo Messenger also allows you to start a mobile conversation or to invite your friends to a conference, these options can be found in the "Tools" section. If you want to make new friends, you can join chat rooms which are sorted by different categories such as Music, Business and Finance, Computers and Internet, Games, Romance, Recreation and Sports, Science, etc. In these chat rooms you can meet new people and share your interests. Besides, you can create your own chat room and determine it's category. Then all the people who want to chat with you will join your chat room and you will have a great time! Furthermore, you have many options such as a calendar to organize your events, an address book to have your e-mails, a news section and a weather section to keep you informed of what happens in the rest of the world. |
